A Letter from the Superintendent

Dear Parents and Students of the Pojoaque Valley School District:

On behalf of the Board of Education, I want to welcome you to the 2007-2008 School Year. This year holds great promise for our students.

Our Operational Goals are:

1. To improve our educational and support services on a continuous basis;
2. To support student achievement;
3. To create a safe and orderly environment to minimize instructional distractions;
4. To display standards of conduct that promote learning;
5. To continue to focus on literacy and mathematical skills;
6. To align curriculum K-12 so that our graduates have the knowledge and skills to succeed with their post-secondary education; and
7. To practice respect in all of our personal interactions.

Together, we will achieve our goals and provide a quality education for each student.
